Terms of Use
Effective July 29, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Crane Integrated Facility Services (“Crane IFS”) website, our careers and client portals, the web time clock, and the Crane Field mobile app (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use it.
1. Who may use the Service
The Service is for workplace use by Crane IFS employees, by crew employed by our subcontractors, by our clients, and by people applying for work with us. It is not intended for the general public or for anyone under 16. Use it only for its intended purpose and provide accurate information.
2. Your credentials
- Sign-in links, access codes and PINs issued to you are personal. Do not share them. You are responsible for what happens under your credentials.
- Do not clock in or out for anyone else, and do not let anyone else use your PIN. Time records support what a customer is billed and what a worker is paid; falsifying one is a serious matter and may be treated as fraud.
- If you believe someone else has your PIN, tell your supervisor so it can be reset.
3. Location and device permissions
Parts of the Service ask for location, camera and NFC access to confirm that work happened where and when it was recorded. You can refuse or later revoke any of these in your device settings. Refusing location does not lock you out, but a punch we cannot verify is recorded as unverified and may need your supervisor to confirm it. What we collect and why is set out in our Privacy Policy.
4. Time records
The Service records clock-ins and clock-outs. We aim for these to be accurate, but the record in this system is not by itself a determination of hours worked or wages owed. Hours are subject to review and correction, and corrections are logged.
If you are employed by one of our subcontractors, your pay, schedule and terms are set by your employer, not by Crane IFS. We record hours to verify what your employer invoices us. Raise any question about your pay with your own employer.
If you believe a time record is wrong, tell your supervisor promptly so it can be corrected.
5. Job applications and offers
Submitting an application does not create an offer or a contract of employment. Any offer is conditional as described in the offer letter, and employment is at-will to the extent the law allows.
6. Electronic signatures
Where the Service collects a signature — typed, drawn, or by clicking to accept — you agree it has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature, and that we may keep an audit record of when and from where it was made.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- access data belonging to anyone else, or attempt to;
- interfere with, probe or attempt to bypass the Service’s security, including its time-clock verification;
- copy, remove, relocate or tamper with the NFC tags installed at a site;
- submit false or misleading information, including false time or task records;
- use automated means to access the Service without our written permission.
8. Our content and yours
The Service, its software and its branding belong to Crane IFS or our licensors. Photos and records you create in the course of your work — task evidence, inspection notes — are business records belonging to Crane IFS and, where the contract provides, to our customer.
9. Availability and disclaimer
We work to keep the Service available, but it is provided “as is” and we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. If the Service is unavailable when you need to clock in or out, follow your site’s fallback procedure and tell your supervisor; do not treat an outage as a reason not to record your time.
To the extent the law allows, Crane IFS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Service. Nothing here limits any right you have under employment or wage-and-hour law.
10. Suspension
We may suspend or withdraw access where credentials are shared or misused, where employment or a contract ends, or where required for security. For subcontractor crew, access may also end when the vendor’s contract does.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do we will move the effective date above, and material changes will be communicated to affected users. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
